Vince Vaccaro is proud to unveil his new record. An album chock-full of gritty anthems, soaring vocals, and stadium ready guitars, beautifully contrasted by two heart wrenching ballads delivered on acoustic guitars, piano, harmonium, and ambient guitars .

Written and recorded between May 2021 and May 2022, the making of this album was a chaotic mission and a perfect storm. What started out as a daily effort to simply do “something, anything”, quickly became five notebooks full of lyrics with pages filled on both sides, a growing pile of cassettes loosely labelled with their content, endless voicenotes with recorded parts, lyrics, and ideas. This album took months and months of work - twelve months to be exact - with every detail hashed out hundreds of times.

With the help of life-long friend and drummer (Johnny Andrews) came the drum recordings, all done in a side bedroom, over several days in October/November.

The mix was brought to life by a friend and mentor who was dedicated to this album seeing the light of day.

“There came a time, near the end of the recording sessions, where I had given up on this album. I’d been interrupted by an accident in October and had since lost heart completely. The original feeling for the music wasn’t there anymore. When Darrell started coming by in the evenings and mixing late into the night, I got the vision back. I remembered why I’d started this thing. I could hear it again, being a bystander, he just worked on the mix and I got to sit in the back, on a yellow chair, and listen. If it wasn’t for D, I would have never finished. “

When all the songs were done and ready to go out, a decision was made to release all ten songs as singles, over the next several months; rather than one release, a full length album, containing ten songs.

While this makes sense in the grander picture, I want you to hear this thing from front to back, the way it was written, the way it was made. Right here, right now.
