Concert for Alaska
ALASKA Update: I love good news. Alaska’s ultrasound results came back: her spleen, stomach, kidneys, liver, and colon are healthy and normal. She has light inflammation around her small intestine which can be a sign of IBD, and there’s a small nodule on one of her lymph nodes.
There is so much relief today knowing that it’s not some crazy internal situation like I was anticipating. From here on out, it’ll be a diet focused treatment. I’m following all the recommendations I’m getting at Kindred Spirits Veterinary Hospital. We’re continuing on with the TCM herbs and species specific diet of meat and fish: real food.
If I’ve learned anything through this, its that nature has a way, and we need to follow it. This good news doesn’t explain everything that’s been goin on with Alaska over that past months but it definitely showed us what it is not.
I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has supported Alaska, its been really moving for me to see people reach out back to me and lend a hand. I’m very much looking forward to the two dates playing the Concert for Alaska, thank you all, and see you soon.
Tickets for the Victoria show are now sold out, but there is another date at the Duncan Showroom in the Cowichan Valley on Jan 18th.
